Some time ago I played Half-Life 2 and doing that it reminded me of why I love videogames and first person shooters with a story in particular. For me the fun of playing this kind of games is that I get to be the main character of my own movie. And if the game’s world is as well thought and developed as Half-Life 2′s then it’s like being the main character of a super production.
If you don’t play games at all you might not have experienced the feelings above. It’s in some way like the difference between getting the news from a TV and browsing on the Internet and choosing your media sources. And also, if you haven’t played any of the first person shooter single player games I recommend you trying, the experience is amazing.
Half Life 1 was the first FPS I played on my entire life, and recently I had the luck of getting my hands on Half Life 2 and the 2 episodes for less than 3 euros, thanks to a holiday sale on steam (I already had finished hl2, but it was on a friend’s house, so I never owned it)
Must say that the episodes are equal or even better than hl2, it’s a shame that you can finish each on 4-5 hours

Ya con el uno lo pasé pipa. Juegazo aun teniendo los años que tiene.
Y el dos me pareció sublime. No he jugado los episodios porque preferí esperar a tener un buen ordenador (estoy ahorrando xD), pero recuerdo el nivel en el que se bloqueaba el camino y tenías que rodear por un pueblo tomado por los bichos xD. Legendario. Sólo con el arma gravitacional y sierras, muchas sierras, menudo acojone llevaba encima cuando lo jugué por primera vez. Y luego aguantando oleadas en un tejado y cuando subían por las canaleras las veías temblar jaja, genial.

Recuerdo una demo, en Micromania creo, era la demo de HL1, mi lado gay acabó irremediablemente enamorado de Freeman, tengo el 1 y el 2. Curiosamente en multi nunca fué santo de mi devoción.
Siempre que veo alguna imagen del Half Life me acuerdo de las voces de los soldados enemigos.
Continuo jugando juegos singleplayer, ahora mismo estoy con Mafia II Joe’s adventures. Soy, no el protagonista, sino el personaje de una pelicula de Coppola.
